Georgi Parvanov: I voted for a calm and stable Bulgaria
22-10-2006 12:48 |
“I voted for a calm and stable Bulgaria; a Bulgaria that gives chance to the young people to see their realization in their own country; a Bulgaria that gives old people the opportunity to live properly – the way they have worked it for; a Bulgaria that creates a new culture, a new climate in our relations. I voted for a president’s institution, that represents the image for the unity of the nation; a president’s institution, which is not a hostage to party interests.

Parvanov: This Coalition’s Historical Mission is Done
14-10-2006 10:32 | Trud Daily
“I’ve never had the ambition to become a Prime Minister despite the fact that many have argued that I should have. I must say that today Bulgaria has an image that is equally good to the east and to the west. This is why no one disputes these issues. This is why some people like to choose the ethnic niche. This is a very risky game; we have enough examples in the history of our country and the one of our neighbors. However, I believe in the maturity of Bulgarians.
